Just purchased 4 Gabriel Sport shock from Autozone for $18 apiece. Just curious if anyone else out there has used them, they are supposed to give you a smoother ride than the Gabriel LT's. I am still debating whether or not I should've bought the LT's. I'm leary of stiffing the ride. I hate to say it but I getting to the point in life where I want a vehicle with a nice ride! Need to make a decision quick I want to install them soon, get new tires (Michelins from Sams or Wal-mart), install new radius arm bushings and get an alignment. By the way Autozone has a radius arm bushing kit that comes with poly bushings for $7. And yes I am hoping this will fix my 65mph shakes!

I put on some VSTs on my '95 4dr and they were a great improvement over the stock shocks. Helped out in handling and on bumps. They probably aren't as good as the more expensive shocks (Bilstien, Edelbrock, Rancho 9000, etc.) but are a good stepup from stock. Good luck with your decision.

I misread your post. I see now that you bought Gabriel Sport shocks. I thought it said VST? I haven't heard of the Sport shock. If it has VST it should still be a good shock.

Nope, not VST's Gabriel Gas Sport Ryder, AutoZone as I said also carries Gabriel Gas LT. They are both for light truck or SUV applications but the LT as the counter dude told me would give you a stiffer ride and the Sport a more comfortable carlike ride which is what I am aiming for. Debating about the Michilens now. Think I decided to go ahead and try the Sport shocks I'll post the results after I get a feel for them.

I also have the vst's,and i just put on some michelins
LTX M/S's. My ride greatly improved,I'm very happy that
I got the Michelins,plus i got a nice emergency road
package too.

Gabriel VST

I've had the VST shocks on for about 2 months along with new Bridgestone Dueller H/L tires. Now it is a much improved ride. Although it is bit stiffer, the nose dive and rolling are noticebly less, alomst non-existent compared to before.
