Garage Door Opener - program 2018 Explorer to a DIP Switch?

I can't find anywhere online, I have an 18 XLT and recently bought a new home. The house has an old garage door with a DIP switch. I cannot figure out how to program the garage door opening in the Explorer to open the door. Anyone out there know how this can be done? I have tried a couple of step by steps but they appear to be for much older trucks and do not work on mine... Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum.
Did you follow the steps shown in your Owner's Manual? Page 161 of the 4th printing.
Also, make sure you erase the memory of the visor buttons after each unsuccessful attempt.

The manual does not cover a garage door opener with a DIP switch... I could buy a universal remote, program it to the DIP switches in the door opener and then program to the car but I am trying to skip that step...
