Hi! I just wanted to introduce myself to this forum. I'm the proud owner of a 1997 Explorer with about 244k on it and still running hard, purchased from a friend of mine in Oct. 2010. I've worked on my own vehicles since I owned my first one at 18, which is more years ago than I care to remember but I don't consider myself an "auto mechanic" by any stretch of the imagination. As the old Beatles song goes, "I get by with the help of my friends," meaning that we do alot of back and forth with working on each other's vehicles, which I'm sure many of you also do. If someone has a problem that I've got experience doing, I'll be happy to give my 2 cents worth. Look forward to talking with you good folks!
