Had this same problem myself recently. An easy fix if you just need a new cap. If you need a black cap for the V8 here's the part number: 6L2Z-9030-F (leftover from when I ordered mine a few weeks ago )
I bought a new cap when I bought my explorer because I wanted a locking one with a key. I know it's a anti-siphon neck, it's not theft I'm worried about, it's vandalism (sugar, bleach, etc)...
If you're wanting Motorcraft you'll only be able to get black, I don't think manufactures started putting yellow caps on flex fuel vehicles until sometime after 2005...
