GAS MPG questions once again!!!

What ARE YOU getting... NOT miles per tank but take the miles and the gallons used to come up with your MPG... YES .... Everyone usually gets worse in the Winter months... Between the Winter Blends, and the Colder Weather(the vehicles usually run richer longer because it takes longer to warm up)... Look at your tailpipe and see if its black... If it is, then it is running rich...Like I said, I am getting as low as 14.5 and as high as 19.89 mpg....

DFB - read what i wrote in my first post im getting about 10MPG. I fill it up paying about 46 dollars and i get about 155 miles till the light comes on and says HELLO LOOK AT YOUR GAGES and i do and thats when i see i have no DAM gas. The truck doesnt smoke, burn oil or even hesitate to start. I have done all maintenance and a few more things but this is bad. I put in 20 dollars two nights ago becasue i refused to fill it up drove 1 hour and 20 minutes. 45 minutes of that was highway doing about 65-68 miles per hour. When i got home light was on look at your gauges.

The DPFE (otherwise the Delta Pressure Feedback Sensor or the Differential Pressure Feedback Sensor)

this is what I was talking about. I heard it can mess with idle and gas mileage

I just did a search on this forum and on google and i cant find any posts on how it affects MPG. Do you have a link or something you read that states it. Not saying you are wrong trust me i appreciate the feedback just dont want to throw money out there and be in the same situation.

thanks

it was from memory...but I think afffects the idle and indirectly affects gas milage.... let me try to find that post.

Thanks appreciate all the help!!!!!!!!!!

My 2000 OHV with close to 160K manages 18-19 on the highway, even with winter blend here in MD, and that's with pretty minimal maintenance lately due to funding issues...
