I''ve heard its common in first gens for the bob in the gas tank to sink so that the gas gauge reads empty. i was wondering if anybody else had this problem and fixed it themselves. How hard is to take the gas tank off and fix that?

It's a pretty common problem and it's not to hard to fix.The main thing is make sure the tank is close to empty when you do it,it makes it much much easier.You can do the search on here and probably find the details on how to do it.
