Gauge cluster swap.

Hey what's up everybody. I'm Chad from Tulsa with an 04 Explorer XLT 4.6 L. So here's and I know there's other threads regarding the gauge clusters I read through them and mine is different. So I went to the salvage yard to get some replacement sun visors seen white face gauges in a 04 Mountaineer so of course I snatched them up. I installed them everything seemed to work fine except for when I would hit the reset button on the gauges themselves all it would do is beep and not clear anything or switch through the menus or nothing so I did some research and found out that the white face gauges that I had got are the upgrade from the XLT they have a message center where it will tell you messages I E mileage Direction, air pressure, engine temp, etc.
Etc. Then when I pulled out my book from the car and it was telling me to hit buttons that I didn't have to clear messages and realized that I did not have those buttons on my desk will I have now acquired that button switch I got the wire harness that comes from it my question is,.Am able to tie that wire harness in to the appropriate wires of the vehicle and will it work? Because when I went back to the salvage yard to get that switch As far as on the dash the Salvage card menu buttons was where my four wheel drive buttons are on mine next question since mine is four-wheel drive is that going to affect anything?
