Gauge question, need reply ASAP

I read the tutorial on hooking up the gauges and that but I was just curious...

when hooking up the wire that goes to the light switch, will the gauges come on automatically with my lights at night or do i need to hook it up to a completely different wire for that?

If you splice the headlight wire then i would think so...but I am not sure. Dont know about all of that fancy smancy 2000 model stuff I wired my gauges to the fuse box so I wouldnt have to splice the factory wires. Dont know if I would recommend it or not though. One of my big car friends told me about it so I took his word.

Huh? I used the top right (you facing it) wire on the dimmer knob next to the light switch, its a constant 12v that is very close and works with your autolights.
If your dash lights are on, so are your guages.
