Gauge Question

I just installed a remote tranny filter and gauge kit. The gauge i got with it only reads from 140 to 360. I want a gauge that reads lower. Can i get any electric temp gauge and it work or do i need one for oil or do i need a trany temp gauge ??

I recently added a tranny temp gauge. The gauge reads from 140 to 360 but i want one that reads lower. Can i use a standard oil gauge or do i need a tranny temp gauge or can i use a water temp gauge. The one i installed is electric.
