Gday guys long time no post and all that.
Got a few photos to share with the forum soon, just got to get em developed and put onto a CD.
Anyway the young brain has begun ticking over agene with is always dangerous LOL
I am thinking Warrior Shackles, Front Diff Lock, Heavy-duty torsion bars and even a winch.
1. I was having a look on the Summit website and they showed the Detroit E-Z Locker for the rite price available for the DANA 35 on the Explorer, Have never herd any reference to em before, Does anyone use em.?
2. What is the max lift anyone has got out of the Warrior Shackles? I have a hight limit as I have a MAX of 1.9-inch of clearance between the X’s roof and the garage door.
3. Mile marker 9500Lb Electric winch I would like to attach one to the front of my X But, as you know I have a Bulbar and have limit space to make a winch-mounting bracket to attach it to the chassis rails behind the bar (the bar is aluminium so no go for winch mounting.) So can anybody post up a photo or 2 of how they have attached a winch to the front of a X using the chassis rales.
With the Shackles on the back it will put me up close if not giving 4-inch of lift on the back
and with the bigger torsion bars I will be trying to hit 2.5-inch lift on the front, currently sitting slightly over 2-inch lift on the front (Go the CV’s LOL) The stock bars don’t seem to want to hold anymore than 2-inch of lift anymore as they have had a work out over the years.
