Gearbox Problem, I think?

Hi Guy's,

My ex has started doing a few strange things. It go's into first gear for no reason or just into neutral so has no drive whatsoever! It has now done this twice so seems to be getting worse.
Has anybody go any idea's? I'm not that technical so would have to get any work done by a mechanic.

I would check the gear selector handle adjustment. The method of adjustment is covered in the haynes manual

Good start, also have you checked the fluid level? Its done at normal running temp, after you park and pass through, all the gears and then into park- pull the dipstick and check to see if the level is right, the fluid is clear and red. If it is not- you could do with a fluid flush, filter change. This is always good practice
