gem unit location

Hi guys not asked many questions because had no real problems with my 2000 registerd 4ltr explorer auto till now my problem is quite common my /windows/interior lights/wipers stopped working i read threads on here about the gem unit could be faulty .My question is were is the gem unit located on my explorer thanks

Pull the radio with its bezel and on u.s. models its on the left its a black box about the size of a VHS tape

Thanks for your help i found the gem unit and fitted a new one everything ok for now .But just a quik question what is the other modual opposite the gem unit the number on the unit is F87F-3B494-AC ANHCO45229 ARCM it also has made in mexico on it thanks for any info

if you google the number F87F-3B494-AC, it comes back as a suspension control module. i would guess you have air suspension in the rear.
