General Electronic Issues

Hello Forum Members. This is my first post. I have a 2020 Explorer Limited with about 15k miles. It has been at the dealership for recalls and service, but lately I have been having the following issues:

Start the vehicle in the morning to go to work and the AC controls, and the front passenger window and mirror don’t work. This causes the Blind Spot Detection System to malfunction. No cameras. After driving for about 30 minutes, all of a sudden the AC comes on and the mirror folds out.

On occasion when the XM Radio changes songs, if I have the display on the dashboard showing the radio information it doesn’t sync the info. If I scroll thru the dashboard options and go back to the radio it still won’t sync. I have to change the radio station.

I take it to the dealership but it seems they thought it was a camera which the changed the last time it was there, but that doesn’t explain the AC.

Any thoughts?

Since you're under warranty, you're gonna have to let the dealership fix it anyway. If you're not confident that that your dealership can fix it, then try taking it to a different one.

Does this happen repeatedly or just the one time? Unfortunately dealers don't want to fix things unless there's a code or they can reproduce the symptoms themselves.

Granted I'm no mechanic, but I don't see how any of the issues you listed are connected to the rearview camera. Feel free to take it to another dealer and please keep us in the loop. Thanks.
