General Power Seat Question for 96 XLT

Not entirely sure on a plug being left under the carpet (can't remember) but I thought 94-97 explorer power seats were comfortable since you actually sink in a little, just my opinion though.

I'll have to pull the carpet up one of these days and look. These stocks seats are not too bad in the seat cushion area but have always lacked in the lumbar support region IMO. If the plugs aren't there I imagine this wouldn't be too difficult to wire since wiring is hot all the time.

One could always argue I could buy one with power seats but I've had her since new and will only part with it when the engine seizes.

Yeah wiring to the seat is hot at all times so it wouldn't be much of a hassle in wiring a set up, and there wouldn't be no point in getting rid of a vehicle just for a power option or two.
