Third row power seat question.

I have a 2006 V8 LTD. The right powered third seat needs help when elevating it. The gear is not slipping. With manual assistance, the seat raises smoothly. It will lower under its own power and does so smoothly.

Is there anything in the mechanism that should be oiled or greased? I have not had hands on this assy and the few pictures I have seen do not illuminate if there are any moving parts that need lubed.

Sounds like it has started to fail. Not much you can do about it. Like you said, with help, it runs smoothly, so lubrication is not the problem. The problem is a poor design that fails for a high percentage of people, and also poor design as far as serviceability.
do a search for my name and this topic, and you will find a thread for replacing the mechanisms (when it finally fails for you soon). Or bring your checkbook to the dealer.
