Generator

Hi
Being new here, and proud owner of a 97 explorer, i need some help!!
I'm from Germany and looking for a new "Lichtmaschine( Generator)"
A used one will do for the moment. I need at least 100 Amps, as far as i know.
If anyone knows were i can get one, please let me know.

I "think" Rockauto.com will ship overseas and they have a 5% discount code in the vendor section.

Also, Here in the US, it is called an Alternator. "Generators" haven't been used in vehicles in many years.

Thats ok.. I figured it was just a language barrier and I wanted to give you the correct term to use when looking for that part in English.

Welcome to this forum! Alternator & starter rebuilding shops are pretty common in the USA. You might have a similar type of machine shop where you live.

i got over rockauto.com.
my brother managed it from the states. and sends it to me.
and i even got the discount. using the code that mark gave me.
