Get your rear controls to work with new HU

Hey guys, i found this browsing www.crutchfield.com i might do it, anyone have any experience with this?

nice catch! why don't you call them and ask? oh, and if you do, ask if they carry the AAI-FRD3 (also by PAC). It's an auxiliary interface that allows you to add a pair of line inputs to the cd changer input of the stock head unit, while still retaining use of the changer! it'd be very handy for XM/Sirius, etc...like mine

you already brought it up. why waste their time with 2 seperate but relavent phone calls when one will do? You asked about crutchfield...go ahead and ask them.

does it work with only certain HU's?

if i remember right, it works with IR-controllable ones. What i'd prefer is one that works on a data bus, so you can have expanded control (possibly 2-way somehow)
