Getting a 2021 XLT Sport appearance package, which color?

I had 4 white cars at one time also. We used to joke that we should paint red crosses on the roofs. My last car was white, I went with the infinite blue because I needed change!

My last car that wasn't white was my 5th gen camaro, that was silver lol. But that was like 6 years ago.

All my 3 cars now are white lol. Idk, i just think white looks classy IMHO.

Debating on what color on my next lease/weekend toy. Most likely white again but if there's a unique color that everyone doesn't have, i'll consider that.

Silver is the best color since it always looks clean and doesn't show spots. Then when you wash it really shines!

I had a white Explorer, I have a silver Mountaineer, and most of my vehicles over my lifetime have been White. No particular reason just kind of worked out that way though I do agree they are easy to keep clean. But I have to say I think I'd go with the red. Just simply cuz it looks so sharp. Good luck with you and the vehicle.

Silver definitely looks good. But it's very plain. It's like a rental car color IMHO. It would probably be my 2nd choice of color if i were to get something not white though. Although that atlas blue is really good. It's similar to the indigo blue they use for the dodge challenger/charger. It really pops.

I like those wow factor colors. But white being my favorite since it looks classy. Turns heads when it's all shiny.

Sometimes you don't buy the vehicle as much as you by the deal. And when those can't pass up deals come along color really isn't that important as long as it's not but ugly. LOL

Well for it worked out perfectly because i got the color i want, with the options i probably would have passed for the price i was ok with.

There was a base explorer (although AWD?) but none of the options i had for 38k but it was silver spruce? When i went to the dealer that afternoon, the truck looked green. Definitely couldn't do it.

Saw a white explorer. Saw the tan interior. No thanks. Almost told the salesman i'll come back when there's more inventory. Just as i was about to do that a tech was parking the white explorer i ended up with. Salesman pointed and said how about that? Of course i played it off saying ehhh, i'll just come back. Then of course salesman being a salesman he had to keep pushing.

Ended up getting that 47k MSRP explorer for 42k. In white. With black interior. It's what i wanted lol

I am biased to the white as well, as mine is white. There is one drawback to it, kind of, in my state the state troopers started using brand new explorers in white, silver, or black so driving down the highway everyone in front of me slows down when I come up behind them, but the plus is they usually move over pretty quick as well.
Don’t sound like a drawback to me lol. I saw an explorer with a license plate that read “NOTACOP” and I thought that was pretty damn funny

Porsche did a lot of research back in the 50s-60s and found out that pure white weighs less. Less weigh equals faster vehicle.
More HP takes care of that. Easy peasy. 🤣

Our choice was between white and the new blue color, we chose the blue due to all the charcoal accents matching better along with the grey/blk sport interior just made the vehicle feel more complete all around. It has since been tinted and complete audio overhaul but overall nice vehicle. I’d say red depending on the interior color.

This is the exact package we have except for the bow. It is a nice rig, I bet you all are getting a lot better deals now than we did bqck in December 2020. Ford has more incentives now.

We Love it. Explorers have come a long way since my 15 model. I was able to get it at just about invoice price plus taxes and fees. We were at $38506 with my X plan pricing which was only $6 over invoice and a little under 40 out the door. It’s my wife’s daily but I whip it around every now and again 😂.

Yeah we got ours for 37500 but paid for the gap and 100k mile warranty which brought it up to a little over 40k. I guess you may have the roof or some other features that put you in the 38k range all we basically have is the tow package and SAP.

I say go with the white one. Would you consider a leftover 2020 ST instead of the 2021 XLT. I looked at both and had driven an XLT as a loaner. I think for a few extra $1000 you would love the ST.

A lot of posts to help the OP who I noticed hasn't chimed in since the initial post. Perhaps he's conflicted? :D

Good luck with your new Explorer! Can't go wrong with white.
