I finally got my old balancer off my 2005 ford explorer 4.0. Now I am trying to get the new one on? I rented a installing kit from pep boys but I can't figure out how to use it since the large bolt on the kit I should tighten would be inside the new balaner. Also how do I stop the new balancer from turning while installing it?

The balancer should have a keyway that slides onto the crank. Be sure to but some RTV in the keyway before installation. Once the balancer is properly slid on, you want to draw it onto the crank with the bolt. If it is spinning the crank on you, try using a strap-wrench, installing the serpentine belt, or both.
