Bought this explorer for the wife at 800 bucks, needs some work but runs great. Im slowly in the process of "fixin her up" ( already installed billet grilles, gauges and next week new interior carpeting.)

Problem im having is that we i have washed the truck about 3 times now, and in one spot there appears to be an egg stain in the right rear quarter. I have no idea how long its been there, but im sure its been there for a long time. How can i get this off without ruining this finish on the paint? Anyone have any ideas?

(Im also putting together a before and after "album" of the truck when im done with it :D )

clay bar?

spatula? hahaha:D

If you absolutely have to, mineral spirits will take it off, but be sure to clean the area and rewax after.

Paint cleaner followed by wax maybe?

I will try all these and post back...

I have washed the truck by hand and even took it to a car wash and its still there..It not like its faded out its more like an imprint of the egg, and you can clearly see how it all ran down the side of the truck.

nope
it is done
egg is terrible, terrible, terrible, for your paint.
After just a few minuts it is damaged.
I would say in your case it will never completely go away.
