getting rid of AC SMELL

how do you get rid of the smell from the ac? I heard with can of lysol but don't know procedure for putting through vents.

You can buy duct cleaning sprays at parts stores or Amazon. You spray it via the outside intake etc..

All I ever used was Lysol sprayed from the outside with the system on outside air and high fan speed. I even used Lysol on large commercial systems over the years.

Where is the outside AC air intake?

It's under the passenger side cowl where the hood meets the glass. You can also set it to Max AC which uses inside air. If you drop the glove box, you'll see the fresh air intake box.
