Recently received my Gibson stainless headers and Magnaflow cat setup for my truck. They've been installed but I'm away for work at the moment, pre-install picture below:

Will report on my thoughts on the performance gains upon my return to civilization. I have been eagerly awaiting this mod for quite some time now, feels good to finally have 'em on there!

Do you happen to have the parts# for the gibson headers? When you get in town, please post a video (if able to) of the truck running. I am really tempted to order some of these and replace the cats as well with some Magnaflows. Thank you in advance!

Do you reckon you'll be able to do some timed runs and maybe some fuel economy checks before you fit these bad boys?
You know, for science.

I have times runs saved in my programmer from beforehand, and fuel mileage data from before as well. In Alberta my 0-60 averages around 8.6s, and I usually get around 22mpg hwy. I have a 5000km road trip coming up as I'm moving back to eastern Canada, so that will provide some good fuel economy data.

Video finally!

Fuel mileage before install:
21.5 mpg hwy, at 105km/h cruise, temperature of 28Celsius, using Shell 91 octane, as determined by actual fuel consumed at the pump, not using the onboard computer.

0-60mph time (0-96kmh) before install: 8.4s at 3600ft above sea level (Calgary, AB), measured with Superchips Cortex onboard tuner plugged into OBD2 port.

Fuel mileage after install:
23.7mpg hwy, at 105km/h cruise, temperature of 31Celsius, using Shell 91 octane, as determined by actual fuel consumed, not onboard computer.

0-60mph (0-96kmh) after install: 7.9s at 3600ft above sea level (Calgary, AB), measured with Superchips Cortex onboard tuner.

Note: The best fuel economy I have ever attained with my truck was at a cruising speed of 90km/h (56mph) was 24.6mpg, at a cooler temperature of 18 degrees celsius at an elevation of 1900ft above sea level (Lac La Biche, AB). I believe that when I return back to eastern Canada, where I'm originally from, which is only several hundred feet above sea level, and thus with denser, cooler air, I will achieve even better fuel mileage.
