Hello everyone I just joined and just got my explorer it's a 1996 eddie bauer 4dr 4x4 with a 4" lift 34inch tires and the 4.0. It has a check engine light but I already found out it's the DPFE sensor thanks to this site. I'm going wednesday to the junk yard to pick up a few of them, Just bought it and have rent coming up so no money for a new one right now. so as long as that is the problem I'll get a new one later. so far I really like the explorer and plan on getting a lot of info from this site!
