Hello,

I have had 2 good experiences with my dealer. I walked in the door today at 330PM with a check engine light, rough idle, and surging at 35MPH.

I expected the service advisor to tell me it would be sometime next week before they could look at it. But like last time I came in, they got me right in and fixed it in an hour and half.

I have a new VW, and you have to wait weeks for an appointment, and they keep the car for days, and usually a week later the problem returns.

My question, anyone else have good experiences with their Ford dealer?

Morgan

Not with my Ford dealer but I love my Lincoln/Mercury dealer.

I bought my truck from Garnet Ford, because I had past problems with Marple Ford near my house. Garnet is the best thing that ever happened to me. When I call for a problem covered under warranty, they make the appointment to bring it in the next day or two days after I call. They provide me with a nice loaner car, ussually a taurus but a fully loaded one, and they get the problem fixed the first time, not any of this B.S. running around we can't find the problem or come back next week. Any one in the S.E. PA area I recommend going to this dealer for service because they do not ever feed you any bull. They just fix the problem.

My dealer is John Elway Ford West, in Wheatridge, CO. I have bought 2 new and 2 used vehicles from there in the last 2 yrs. I have nothing but raves for them. There is nothing about the whole dealership that I can say anything bad about. Yhey are the best.:chug:

I went with my fiance when she bought her Mustang here at Bloomington Ford. I have to say they were very nice and willing to work with us. She got the brand new mustang, 0 down, good monthly payments, and they even let us take it home without her having a checking account at the time...(she had just got her degree). I very well might go there and try to find a little gas saver late this year after i've got my degree. All in all a good experience.

Just don't take it there for any kind of service. Bloomington ford is good to purchase a vehicle through but definately don't take it there for service. Larry Bird Ford in Martinsville gets a good portion of their buisness from ticked off customers from Bloomington Ford.

Here in Myrtle Beach, I go to the Ford Dealer for scheduled maintainence and they have saved me so much money. They will call around for the best prices on parts and its incredible the work they do!! No appointment necessary, they can get me in and out for a the 3K mile service in about 30 minutes!! It only costs $22.95 for the service!! (which my mom paid $49 for a jiffy lube for 98 Eddie Bauer) ....I have nothing but praise for the Myrtle Beach Maintenance Dept.!!!
