good replacement shocks 94xlt??

I am looking for some good replacement shocks, for my 94xlt. There is no lift or anything at the moment. I do plan on lifting it at some point, but not sure when.

I would like something that isn't too expensive, but at the same time a good shock. My truck as 114K miles on it, and the handling is really bad. when i hit the smallest pot hole, it seems like i fell into the grand canyon or something.

Rancho 5000s or RSXs they're both good shocks. Do a search this question gets asked alot.

i've put on the cheap Gabriel Sport truck shocks and have no complaints

Yeah I finally did find my answer after about 47000 searches, but thats for the info. I ended up ordering 4 of the Rancho 5000's.

Pro Comp ES3000s may have been a better shock for you. They are just a little softer than the Rancho 5000s, but you get a way better pavment ride out of them. I'm switching back to the Pro Comps because I liked the ride better than the Rancho 5000s and the 3000s were almost the same offroad as the 5000s.
