My wife has been driving a VW Jetta for the last few years, and her lease is up next month so it was time for a new vehicle, and she really like the ex sports. So 5 days after I bought mine she got hers.

It dosn't laugh at the snow however, it goes to sleep for the winter:(

And the oddball of the family, my Baby. 96 Eagle Talon AWD, I bought my senior year in high school 8 years ago. I have spent way too much time and money on this car:confused: Now its really fast and spends most of its time in the garage.

You got that lift and tires up and running quick! Welcome to the forum!
What size tires are those? What did you do to lift it?

I bought the Ex with intentions of putting the lift and tires on, and this forum was a big part of that:D I was looking for a Bronco for a winter driver, because I have been a big Bronco fan for quite awhile, I have had 3, and will have more. But I decided my money could go farther in a ex, and then i would have a vehicle thats better on gas.

I put in a 3" body lift, shackles, TT, 4 door leaves. THe tires are 33x12.50x15 Truxus MT's. I was able to do it all for under $900. So I was pretty happy with the results.

Living in EauClair you are fairly close to me. If you do any offroading you should let me know. I am origionally from the LaCrosse area.

I have to say, I really like the looks of your truck. Mine being DD status, I just want to give it a mild lift and 31's or 32's. Thats pretty impressive that you got that all done for about 900.

thanks for the compliments guys.

I have had the 33's on for a few days now, and can say i am very happy with them. They are not noisey at highway speeds, and they ride great. We just got hit with a winter storm of snow and ice, and I can honestly say the tires work great in the snow/ice. I have previously had BFG muds and at's and neither one handled the winter weather as well as the Truxus MT's.

I also figured the bigger tires would kill the acceleration of the ex, but I hardly notice a difference from the 255's. TO say the least I am very happy with my EX:D
