Heres the situation, about 2 or 3 months ago, the rear blend door actuator in my 03 went out. did some searching and found out what i needed to replace and how to do it; so i bought a new one, installed it, and everything was peachy until i got in it this afternoon: "Ah such a warm day, i think i'll turn all my ac's to cold, its going to feel so n-" CLICK CLICK CLICK. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU- Ok, so after getting home i played with the controls some, and its a little bit different. When the old actuator when out, wether it was cold or heat, it started clicking past the 3rd notch on the temp control; but with the new one, it only clicks halfway between the 1st & 2nd notch and below, and only on the cold side, the heat works fine. Also the click isnt a steady rythm, it jumps from 2 clicks and 2 non clicks back to 2 clicks, to 3 uneven clicks and back. SO, what i'm hoping for is that this one isnt destroyed maybe and there is a trick i can do to fix it, OR, Why is my explorer destroying rear blend door actuators?!

Well i turned to maximum cold, and turned off the car and went inside for a few hours, and when i got back in it was gone! haven't wanted to test my luck to see if its going to come back. :S
