You can pull the air tube from the box. I have completely removed mine.

search box! Lots of write ups about custom snorkles, which would be your best bet. Or just avoid puddles! Thought it would be fun driving through big puddles on the side of the road till I got stuck for an hour on the side of the road in the pouring rain and a leaky sunroof :D haha.

so wait, you run with no air intake? So it just sucks in air straight from the throttle body?

There is a tube that runs from the air box where the filter is located to a point behind the grill about level with the passenger headlight (Note: Not the tube that goes to the throttle body and says Caution: Fan). It is pretty tricky to see this tube, you have to look closely around the air box. This is designed to suck the cold air in from the grill however it's pretty good at sucking water up too because it's not in the best location. I think he was talking about removing this tube. That way the air is still going through the filter it is just sucking air from near the wheel-well rather than the grill.

I recommend the KKM intake. It will eliminate this problem, and it also adds a nice deep tone on hard acceleration. I think it was worth the money just for the sound.

well that makes more sense, haha sorry misunderstood

Or you can get an ARB snorkel and fab it to your vehicle, It isnt too hard just the snorkel is kinda costly.

Thanks guys! Maybe ill just take the one tube out for now and do a kkm in a few mounths......Any other recomendations other that kkm.......or anymore recomendations for kkm
