hey guys/gals.

Got a couple of questions for you all!

1) cel is on. It has been on (cleared) on (cleared) etc. for the last month or so. Originally the codes were for both banks lean. Now that code is gone but I am getting p0455 (evap system leak). Would this be related to why I am getting lean on bank 1+2?

I put my scan tool on it and here are some of the o2 sensor readings.

bank 1: first o2 sensor = -2.3 to 0 STFT, and .075 to .800 (approx) volts

bank 1: second 02 sensor = NA STFT, and .780 (never goes much below)volts

Bank 2: first o2 sensor = 2.3 to 5.4 % STFT, and .08 to .800 (approx) volts.

Bank 2: second o2 sensor = NA STFT, and .730 (never goes much below) volts.

Note: MAP at idle reads 10.3 in/hg....isn't that low? I know my car has like 19 at idle...

Note: MAF = .658 volts, TPS= 10.9%

Problem 2)

Basically simple window problem. The window seems to have come off the track. When the window is closed and you hit the window button, you can hear the motor going and you can hear the track/tray sliding up and down, but the window doesn't move. If you lower the tray to the bottom of the door you can push the glass down but it won't come up properly. Im just wondering if this is a simple problem where the window seperated from the tray, and if so, how is the window held on the tray.

thanks guys,
John

As for the window problem just take the door panel off and im sure you will be able to see what is wrong. Usually there is just a couple screws behind the handle its self then the rest just pops off.

The lean banks may be cause by an exhaust leak as well. The odds 2 02 sensors will go bad at once are pretty slim. Watch my seafoam vid. Link is in my signature.

So the truck is in the shop and I think they are trying to rip my sister off(her truck). The latest is they say the window regulator is pooched. The regulator is 300.00 plus tax plus labour....

Now, isn't the window regulator simply the motor that drives the window tray up and down? Since the tray is moving up and down, wouldn't that tell you that it is working fine? I would think it is a simple matter...whatever holds the glass to the tray has broken.

Am I way off here? Can the tray still move fine even if the regulator is broken?
