will a automatic transmission from a 1991 ford explorer bolt up to a 1993 ford explorer??

yep, it should fit fine, as long as both at 2wd, or 4wd

Welcome to this forum! The later model A4LD is a little more updated, so it's better to use a later one, but either one will work.
