Well i just put new brakes (pads, rotors, calipers on the back) on all 4 corners and was bleeding it this afternoon. Well I got 3 wheels done and i quit paying attention for a little bit and ran the MC dry. Needless to say, I was pretty mad at myself for making a relatively simple job complicated.

Now to my question. Whats the easiest way to get air out the MC? Would a power bleeder do the trick? I talked to meinke today and they said it would cost 30 bucks for the bleed. If it comes down to paying that or taking the MC off to bench bleed it, I'll just pay the 30. Anybody have any other tips?

Best thing to do is to get some more brake fluid and a friend to pump the brakes and bleed each brake. Just make sure your friend pumps the brakes with the key on. I had a friend pump mine without turning the key on.

why does it matter if the key is on?

Any reason to turn the key on?

Start with the passenger rear, bleed it first, then the driver's rear, then add fluid, and do passenger front and then driver's front last. You should be good to go.

Happy Exploring

Chris

look at the bright side, you will have ALL fresh fluid in the system !
