I just bought some LED's for my 91 XLT, and installed them... Everything on them works fine except they don't flash when the turn signal is on (either one)... They come on, but it's solid, no flashing... I'm going out of town in less than an hour, so would like a quick solution, otherwise I guess everyone can just be pissed off at me for all I care  :redexp:

how about putting your old bulbs back in for the time being and then tryin to figure out the problem later.

You'll probably have to buy

one of the electronic flasher units instead of the older thermal type. The LED's draw less current so the thermal doesn't heat up.

I always wondered what happens when you turn your parking lights on because I know LED's are only one brightness..... ?

You will need to get a "no load" flasher. The old (stock) flasher uses resistance (load) to trip itself. As Opera House mentioned, LED's don't create enough load to trip the stock flasher. A "no load" flasher will take care of your problem.

yep
but a better way to decribe what you need is "ELECTRONIC FLASHER". When you go to autozone to buy one for $6.99 thats what they will be called. I gave the part number to it on here once to some hit up a search with my name and "Electronic flasher" and you'll find the autozone part number.
