Got Myself a 97 Sport Have a Few Questions

Hi everyone I am a new guy here and I bought a 97 explorer sport with the sport trac 4x4 or AWD whatever you call it. it had the transmission changed about 45k ago, paid 300 beans for it today but she has a few issues. first the multifunction lever is broken but the guy gave me a replacement when i bought it. second it pulls all over the road ad the tires squeal when driving it. the tires look like this || \\ so something is wrong. and the door light to caution stays on when the door is closed. do it go off in a few min or is my switch bad. and finally a few things aint working like the guage lights and the 4X4 so I thought it was some fuses but im gonna check it tomorrow.

If you have a tire laying over like that you need to get it into a shop and see what it is. The door ajar light will be from a bad sensor button in the door. Open them one at a time and if you hear the chime that one's ok. The one that doesn't chime has the bad one.

well its the passenger door alright but where is the sensor button ?

You have to take off the inside door panel and it is up inside by the inside latch.

ok replaced the mf switch but still no signals just a click sound fro under the dash when trying to signal either way. any ideas for this and the instrument panel lights
