GOT PULLED OVER FOR SPEEDING: COP SAYS BAD SPEEDOMETER DUE TO BAD CHIP

Sounds like a typical crooked cop to me, trying to cover his a**. He pulled you over just to see who you were, what you were doing, etc. NOT because you were doing anything illegal. Some people say, "well, police are just looking out for public safety" and all that blah blah. No. That's just plain WRONG to pull someone over if they're not doing anything illegal. I feel sorry for you younger guys because police discriminate against young dudes. I haven't been pulled over in 6 years, but before that, when I was 18-24, it happened a lot.

Well the speedo gear replacement is so easy I reccomend doing it. I had an accumulation of speedo gears from the 4 t-cases I have and after my budy went to 33's he needed to recalibrate it.
He swung by and I pulled out the gear from the t-case and replaced his 17 tooth gear with a 20. As it turned out he needed a 21 due to tire size and the 4.56 gears in his axles. But we got him within 5mph. he was off by 15 mph earlier. speedo reading 75 when actual speed was 60. Went up 3 teeth and it was reading 65 when going 60. So its not always gonna be 5mph gfor every tooth
