The title pretty much speaks for itself. I finally got my transfer case back in, and now I have no speedometer, no Cruise control, and no overdrive (the highway to work is KILLING me) anyway, what did i do? I thought I put the plugs on the transfer case on the right way, but it looks like I didnt. Could I have stretched the wiring to the plugs? Does one plug control everything? Is it possible to replace the whole wiring setup for those plugs, please help, this really is inconvinent and I drive on the highway a lot, thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure '94 uses a vehicle speed sensor (VSS) that would be in the tailshaft housing of the transfer case. The VSS is the principle input in the PCM's decision to shift into 4th gear (and lock the torque converter clutch), the input for the cruise control, and the connection point for the speedometer cable (assuming your '94 is still cable driven like my '92). My first reaction is that you've somehow got the VSS installed incorrectly (speedo gear not meshing or something).

x2 -- check the VSS

The one plug I had problems with was one that once I unplugged it, there sort of a sliding pin set up on the transfer case. The pin has a plus like attachment to it, hopefully someone knows wtf I talking about. The pin can slide, is there a certain way I should have reatached it? Anyone know what the hell im talking about?lol, thanks
