Grease fittings

I noticed that there are quite a few grease fittings throughout my truck around the wheels, how often should I grease these, and just to be sure what kind of grease should I use(just to be safe) Do I just pump it in till I see it squirting out somewhere? thanks

I fill mine until it pushes all the old, sandy, gritty grease out.. Some will probally argue with that, but down here, if you can keep the sand out of the joints and ends they will last forever..Do it with every other oil change..Just go by Discount and tell the clerk you need undercarage grease..

Just make sure you have plenty off rags, it can get messy..And don't do it in the middle of your parents driveway.....
