Grease in Dvr Side Front Fender

Anybody ever leaked a thick grease like fluid in the drivers side front fender. I just noticed it today. I had one of my buddies take a look at it and he said it is coming out the breather for the front diff. Has anybody ever experienced this? What could it be? There isn't any blown boots or anything.

I had power steering fluid leak and spray on front fender once. Check all the lines to and from the box and pump. Nothing should come out the diff breather tube unless you got water in there or something.

my first suspicion would be a balljoint leaking or a cv boot or the inner tierod socket......
