ok, I had to join after reading 53 pages of seths 90's ex build. (The ending killed me)
There are alot of other searches in here that I can glean from. Good stuff.
My first 302 swap was in my 87 2wd ranger back in 1990 from a 1976 ford mustang mach 1. Perfect fit using the hooker headers conversion kit, the stock C4 and stock drive line. 20 mpg with a stealth intake, 625 carter carb and dual 2.5" exhaust with H pipe at the bell housing, dual flowmaster 50 series mufflers. I lost my virginity to that girl. The frame twists so much that it is a concern.
I really am not a fan of the ford/cologne v6 what so ever. Piss poor design and lack of parts. Even though, I have a few of them obviously.
I continue to swap parts, and figured that joining was a good thing to keep learning.
