Hi all,
as you might know the 2006 Explorer (and other FORDs) has the emergency flasher on the brake circuit and not on the turn lamp circuit hence making the CURT 2-3 converter useless; the brake lights are flashing instead of the indicators. L/R indicators work fine with the CURT.
To my question:
I have to route new cables from front L/R indicators to the back and to connect to the new 7-pin trailer connector. And I want to reuse the Green and Yellow cable that according to the wiring diagram go from the SJB to the back.
I can trace the harness from the back under the car on the right side but then it dissaperas and what I think emerges to the right of the ECU. From the SJB, I trace the harness through the firewall and forward, above the radiator and under the air filter box. But when I there look for the green and yellow, that are thicker than normal, I can not find them.
Anyone knows where they are routed to the SJB?
Is the thick blue on the 4-pin trailer for trailer brakes, so that I could use it as the brake +12V?
