Hi Everybody,
Just was looking for some information and ran across this site and decided to join in. I Love my Explorer and am looking forward to learning from all of you and your knowledge. Now that I'm here, could anyone tell me where the rear abs sensor on my 2000 xlt 4wd is located? Thanks for any help and I look forward to making some new friends. 1Frank

Codes logged

Hi Brooklyn,
I pulled up 2 codes---B1230 & B1102
I appreciate any help you may offer!
Thanks, 1Frank

Interesting BrooklynBay, My checker said it was a defective rear abs sensor? I just recently purchased this Explorer to replace a Ranger I had and the ABS light was on when I got so I don't know it's history.

It's a new scanner we just purchased at work, I'll get that info and drop a note tomorrow eve. Thanks 1Frank

code checker

BrooklynBay, It's a Actron Auto Scanner Plus Model #CP9580 I ran it again and it still shows the same codes yet the only problem is the ABS light stays on. ??
