Grill Guard Question..

First off I am new here. I signed up last week and I must say I have read ALOT of information that has been extremely informative.

Anyways, I am looking to get a Grill Guard for my 03 Explorer Sport 2 Door. I have been looking around, and it seems that the grill guards for the explorers are the same as the ones for the F150's. I could be wrong about this so that is why I am asking here. I have an employee that works for me who has a brand new Grill Guard for her husbands 06 F150 that they took off immediately after purchasing the vehicle. Apparently they did not like the grill guard. Anyways, they have offered this to me for $100 if it will work on my explorer. I have no clue on how I can tell if it will work.


Does anyone have any idea if this would be compatible? I am thinking maybe, but would not be surprised if it will not work.

I don't think an F-150 grille guard will work.
You can get a grille guard made by a company called WAAG.

Go on ebay and search for sport trac brush guards. The guard for the sport trac fits the sport.
