grilles and hood latches

I'm inteested in getting a billet grille, however I'm curious how I will release my hood. The secondary latch is mounted in the grille.

I have read posts of other people getting a newer style latch , or mounting a safety latch to the hood.

or carry around a screwdriver and when you need to open the hood, put it through the slats on the gril and use it to open the lever

Use chopsticks. They're safer!
