ive been reading alot of the threads on this site, and nothing sounds like what i have. my problem is when i take off slowly from a light, it grinds pretty bad as i excelerate. (i think its the torque converter not locking up) if i am at a light and i take off like a bat out a hell, it grinds for a second, then it seems to lockup, am i right, is it the tc? it only does it in 1st and 2nd gear. there is no check engine light, there is no o/d light blinking, that is whats making me think its not the tcc. tranmission shifts fine o/d off botton dosent work, reverse lights dont work. the tranmission is a 4r44e 2wd, with probably about a 100,000 miles on it.
