I searched but couldn't find any answers to this question I have.

This only happens for the first few minutes after startup and only if the car has been sitting for a while, but when I hit any bumps in the road (speed bumps, leaving driveway slant, etc...) I hear a grinding noise from up front. To me it sounds like it could be the shocks when they compress, but I am far from an expert so I was wondering if anyone had ideas on what might be causing this noise. After the first few bumps (2-3) the sound goes away. Thanks for any help!

probly just bushings, i get creaking obnoxious noises just leaning in to get something of a seat.
