Hey guys so I'm so excited even after I replaced the water pump before knowing the real issue was the bottom thermostat housing. Replaced it and no more leak so far. Very thankful to everyone who has helped me with my first truck repair and diagnostic.
Literally couldn't have done it without you guys help. Anyways while the throttle body was off and the whole thermostat and housing was out, I could see the damage done by the water I had to refill my radiator with in the weeks prior to the actual fix. In particular, a ground wire bolted to what seems to be the bottom of the block. It connects via clip along with a red wire directly to a connection clip close to the left side of the engine block. What is this connection clip connecting to and should I have replaced that corroded bolt grounding the wire to the bottom of the block behind the thermostat housing. Any information, as always is greatly appreciated
