Guess the expedition may look something like the 2014 F-150 Atlas

Hey hows it going, sorry posting down in here in explorer forum about an expedition. I am proud Ford Explorer 06 owner, but also disappointed what ford has done to the newer Explorer. I feel the ground clearance is to low due to the front bumper. I just got this in my email of new ford f-150 going to be renamed to the Ford Atlas. I am guessing the Expedition might have a similar design to the Ford Atlas as well.

My neighbors have no issues with the clearance of the new explorer, it is the air dam under the front bumper that they keep hitting on everything (it doesn't clear curbs at all) and this new F150 has a retractable air dam which would work great on the new explorers.
I really hope that most of the new technology in this F150 makes it into the Expedition, but if it does then it is most likely 2-3years away from making it in since they seem to offset incorporation between different models.

The F-150 still going to be called the F-150. Atlas is just the name for the concept.

The air dam on the new Explorers is incredibly annoying, though.
