I recently fitted some H13 LED headlight bulbs but they can be rotated to be fitted in any angle. The stock bulbs´ filament sit at a 45 degree angle, I want to confirm this is right or if there´s a better orientation for better pattern.

normally find the alighment is up and down.... not sure yours is the same. But I'll double check against the woman's 07

Anxious to hear how those bulbs work... If you are able to adjust the rotation, then Im assuming they're the nicer ones. I was looking at that style for my Subaru before I sold it. That had projectors though. So Im curious how you like these in our housings.

I´m testing the Led bulb facing upward, so far the wall test tells me is a lot better. I can see a good pattern, not all over the place like before. I was able to adjust the headlamps with the manual instructions, before this orientation I couldn´t. Now, are the advertised lumens (3,500 low beam / 4,000 high beam) fact or hype?

lumens are funny like that..... kind of wish they just kept using candlepower.... I do the conversion but its still light measured in 2 different ways... total light and center beam

Straight up and down on my 07. It's the same on my 03

As for light ratings... No cure if it's legit but my led lights on the 03 slaughter the silver star ultras on the woman's 07

Thanks SPSully, I wonder if my headlights are OEM, I bought the truck used. I spent a lot of time a couple of days ago to see if they would fit in different angles but they only sit at about 45 degrees, no good.
As for the LEDs I tested them last night and they are night and day for the better, I can say they are working OK now. Still don´t think they are 3,500 lumens but definitely an improvement over stock.

FYI this are 8th generation JDM Astar LED lights, I had to use resistors to prevent high beam check light warning. What I did was modify the H13 plug and play resistor found at amazon, left only the high beam resistors and it now behaves like OEM lights. I can use auto light function. They turn on instantly, don´t flicker, turn off or give any error. So for that part it´s working like it should and better light than stock.

For 99 bucks it´s not cheap and I´ll probably used them a bit before deciding if I want more light. There are HID options that should give better light like the AC 55w kits but I most certainly have to give up the auto light function which I like very much.

Thanks everyone for the help and comments.

I think the hids give more light at distance, but the leds are more useful. Instant on, not as glarey to oncoming drivers etc.
