Hi fellow Explorer enthusiasts. I own my 4th Explorer since they were introduced. Each one was new when I purchased them and I loved everyone of them. I had just paid off the latest one and was sandwiched in the middle of a five car freeway pile up. Front and rear ends were in many pieces but no frame damage. Insurance wanted to write it off and I fought them on it. No way was I going to part with this beast when it was one of the only vehicles to drive away from the accident. $8k later, it's like brand new.
