Hard shifts some of the time

Transmission shift hard, clanks, 2-3 shift on part throttle. Was in transsy shop for 7-weeks, rebuilt trans and transfer case. Only code was pump overspeed, put in new pump again. Sometimes when shutdown for a short time, the problem dissapears?
Am driving it like this hoping the darn thing will break! Maybe they can find it then

did the computer get reset?how intense of a rebuild did they do? did they do a whats needed rebuild or a complete rebuild?
