Has anyone ever had or tried to get there local dealership to match tousley's prices

Ok well i have to replace my intake manifold on my 03 explorer 4.6 and my local dealer want's $410.00 dollar's and tousleys price is $270 plus $13 for shipping. So i was wondering if anyone ever tried to get there local stealership to match tousleys price's? Thanks,Joe

I just replace mine with a Dorman brand through Amazon for about $165.
Good Deal and included built - in seals.

I used the Dorman replacement as well. I had contacted a local dealer once or twice for other parts and was quoted prices substantially higher than Tasca. When I pointed that out to the local dealer, they were unfazed and unwavering on their pricing...so Tasca gets what bit of dealer business I need.

Local dealers will not budge on pricing. Don't bother. If you want factory parts go through Tousley (AutoNation).
